Nostalgia

Nostalgia! How doest thou torment me so?
Back then, in passing moment’s time,
how came I to know?
A feeling swept like summer breeze,
bringing moist without the breath,
and in such stifle, nature’s squeeze,
I felt a stillness in my breast.
For this moment, I decree,
I felt a chill pass over me!
The air still warm, like lover’s lips,
and moist much like their tender dips,
But me, you see, I felt the freeze –
when I saw, reluctantly,
that this moment, like the breeze,
was soon to be…a memory.
